Throughout its 50 years of existence, LSUS has experienced its fair share of challenges and hardships, but it has grown into an innovative leader for northwest Louisiana and is continuously listed in the top 50 in the nation for affordability. Taking a holistic approach to our timeline, we not only celebrate the school's incredible milestones and achievements but also showcase its challenges, student and faculty life, and the unique nuances that make LSUS what it is today.
A word from the Chancellor
Despite the ongoing impact of COVID-19, LSUS continued to thrive in the 2020-2021 academic year, seeing solid enrollment growth and campus development. 我们的教师, 工作人员, 社区支持者, and students have shown incredible resilience during these challenging times. Like many institutions across the nation, we have had to examine our operations and adapt to the ever-changing conditions brought about by the pandemic.
